Nadastrom ne vous dit pas grand chose alors que ses remixes et toutes ses productions sont dignes d'intérêts dès lors que vous raffolez de breaks enragés, de musique électronique survitaminée. Le clip est rempli de d'adeptes du sport, des muscles. Son morceau "Save Us" pourrait être un titre de fitness mais pour cinglés, ceux dopés aux stimulants hormonaux, bourrés de protéines, acides aminés et créatine.

Maybe you don't know Nadastrom even if his remixes and all his productions should interest you if you like crazy uptempo breakbeat, if you like highspeed electronic music. The music video is performed with followers of sport, full of muscles. His track "Save Us" could be a fitness song but for loonies, those guys doped in hormonal tonics, filled with proteins, amino acids and creatine.

Premier clip issu du premier album du combo de producteurs européens, The Very Best. L'album "Warm Heart Of Africa" est fidèle à leur mixtape sortie sur Internet. Ambiance africaine, rythmiques tribales, bref de quoi faire connaître toute la richesse musicale africaine. Pour évangéliser, rien de mieux que de s'associer à quelques personnalités reconnues. Comme les Vampire Weekend qui de la part leur influence reconnue de la musique africaine, étaient prédestinés à collaborer avec The Very Best. Ezra Koenig, le chanteur du groupe, est donc le partie sur ce hit "Warm Heart Of Africa".

C'est le coup de tonnerre de ce début 2010, l'annonce de la décennie du métissage dans lequel on se perd. Qu'est-ce que ce "Babylon" ? Un enfer ou un paradis ? Un retour aux sources ou une projection vers le futur ? De la Fidget House, de la techno façon Crookers, du dubstep tropical, du SoundPellegrino en plus gras ? On n'en sait rien, juste que c'est peut-être un morceau qui fera date.

It's the thunderclap of this beginning of 2010, the announcement of a decade of interbreeding in which we get lost. What is this "Babylon"? A hell or a paradise? A return to the roots or a projection towards future? Is it Fidget House, techno as the Crookers' one, tropical dubstep, new house music sounding like SoundPellegrino releases? We don't know nothing about all these, just that it is maybe a track which will stand out.

Restons dans les pays froids mais réchauffons-nous avec un peu de musique house avec les suédois, Shakarchi & Stranéus. Depuis 2008, les deux compères n'ont cessé de produire des morceaux de deep house inspirés du dub, absolument hallucinogènes, envoûtants, introspectif, vous transportant dans une autre dimension. "Clubbing in Mogadishu" est leur dernière production, plus funky, sonnant tel un classique de house. Je ne sais pas si c'est un rêve ou une réalité mais si c'est ce que l'on entend dans une soirée à Mogadishu, je prends mon billet d'avion direct !


Let's stay in cold countries area but let's warm ourselves with a little of house music from Sweden, Shakarchi and Stranéus. Les grands froids sont arrivés et rien de tel que de parler de Lindstrom, maître norvégien du nu-disco. Associée à la chanteuse Christabelle, il vient d'enfanter d'un album, "Real Life Is No Cool", chaud, langoureux, voluptueux aux doux accents disco électronique downtempo. Difficile de faire une sélection, donc ce fut au hasard et c'est tomber sur "Music In My Mind", un morceau, mélange de Goldfrapp et de Giorgio Moroder avec Donna Summer "I Fell Love". A écouter au coin du feu.

The big colds just arrived and there's nothing best than to speak about Lindstrom, Norwegian master producer of nu-disco. Associated with the singer Christabelle, he has just released an album, "Real Life Is No Cool", warm, languishing, sensual with soft electronic downtempo disco accents. Difficult to make a track, thus it was at random and the winner is "Music In My Mind", a tune, kind of mixture of Goldfrapp and Giorgio Moroder/Donna Summer "I Fell Love". Just listen to it at the corner of fire.

Retour dans mon passé ! Un mix dédié au hip-hop, celui que j'écoutais adolescent. Une sélection qui balaie la période 1987 à 1997 avec des titres très connus, d'autres moins mais tous incontournables. Pas de nostalgie, aucune, juste satisfaire un envie de se replonger dans une ancienne époque, celle où nous gardions les bras levés bien haut. Raise your hands in the air like you just don't care !

J'ai du retard dans mes billets mais je le rattrape tant bien que mal. Aujourd'hui parlons de Myd, un jeune lillois qui est à la France ce que Radioclit est à l'Angleterre, un producteur électro hyper talentueux qui intègre dans sa musique, samples, sons, beats africains. Le titre "Train To Bamako" est explicite, fera penser à Amadou & Mariam mais en plus barré. C'est gai, c'est frais, c'est dansant, c'est tout bonnement bon !

Today let us speak about Myd, a young man from Lille, who is in France what is Radioclit in England, a n electro talented producer who integrate into his music African samples, sounds, and beats. The title "Train To Bamako" is explicit, will remind the singer duet Amadou and Mariam but more crazy. It's cheerful, it's fresh, it's dancing, it is plainly good!

Les passionnés de musique groovy, de funk, de hip-hop sont forcément des auditeurs assidus des maxis sorti le label suédois, G.A.M.M. Records. En quelques années, il est devenu une référence, des bootlegs suivent des rééditions qui suivent des productions originales. La sélection faite par G.A.M.M. Records est toujours d'un goût exquis. Pure P, un des artistes de l'écurie, sort un superbe mi-album, mi-mixtape, "On My New York Shit" aux accents très hip-hop comme l'illustre"New York City (Allstar Mix)" sur fond d'instru de Dr Dre, du Wu-Tang Clan. Un des meilleurs opus de cette fin d'année.

People passionated by groovy, funk, hip-hop music are necessarily diligent listeners of EPs taken out by the Swedish label, G.A.M.M. Records. In few years, it became a reference, bootlegs follows reeditions which follow original productions. The selection made by G.A.M.M. Records is always of a delicious taste. Pure P, one of the artists, releases a magnificent LP, between album, and mixtape, "On My New york Shit", with hip-hop accents as illustrates "New York City ( Allstar Mix)" with instrumentals of Dr Dre, and Wu-Tang Clan. One of the best opuses of this end of year.

Est-ce encore utile de présenter Vampire Weekend ? Blogs, télés, radios, tout le monde en a parlé et vont continuer. En découvrant "Cousins", j'ai tout de suite pensé que ce serait le choix d'Apple pour sa prochaine publicité. Du style, le cousin de l'Iphone est arrivé... Quant au clip, drôle, énergique à l'image de la chanson avec une certaine réminiscence de celui de Michel Gondry pour les White Stripes.

By discovering "Cousins", I thought at once that it would be the choice of Apple for its next advertising "Here is the cousin of the Iphone which arrives on store...". Encore un bon groupe français de pop électronique. The Shoes comme Yuksek ou Brodinski, sont de Reims et ont profité d'un gros buzz pour tourner un peu partout dans le monde en concert comme en DJ set. L'album est pour bientôt et pour se faire une idée, voici un premier titre "People Movin" sur lequel figure Primary 1. Les amateurs de pop enfantine façon Metronomy seront ravis.

Les deux compères de The Count & Sinden, à savoir Herve et Sinden, sont de retour avec un superbe maxi, "Strange Things", sur lequel on retrouve autant de la Fidget House, "Elephant 1234", mais aussi un morceau incroyable de Jungle Drum'n Bass "Strange Things", issu d'un hit reggae de John Holt portant le même nom. Massive tune!

Rubix, DJ hollandais, commence à faire parler de lui. Il faut dire qu'il surfe sur la vague house disco qui revient sur le devant de la scène, le succès de Duck Sauce en Angleterre l'illustre très bien. Toujours les mêmes recettes, une belle boucle groovy disco, un beat house funky et c'est partie pour un tour de dance ! "Baiser Sur La Disco" est le meilleur titre de Rubix et le clip vaut le détour !

Un de mes labels hip-hop fétiche, Big Dada, vit peut-être un tournant car ses sorties réellement hip-hop ne sont pas incroyables alors que dès leurs MCs débarquent avec des instrumentaux électroniques dance, Big Dada frappe fort. Souvenez-vous de Wiley avec son incroyable "Wearing My Rolex" ! Cette recette à base musique house 90's et de baltimore music, semble l'avenir du label, surtout quand on découvre ce jeune rappeur Jammer et son "Party Animal". Une bête de chanson !

One of my favoutire hip-hop labels, Big Dada, lives maybe a bend because its pure hip-hop releases are not really interesting. On the other hand, when MCs put their flow on electronic dance instrumentals, Big Dada rocks! Remember Wiley with his incredible "Wearing My Rolex"! This recipe based on 90's house and baltimore music seems the future of the label, especially when we discover this young MC, Jammer, and his "Party Animal". What an animal song!

Danton Eeprom a sorti un premier album électronique franchement intéressant. Tel un révolutionnaire comme son nom de scène le suggère, le marseillais fait de "Yes Is More" un opus transgenre, mélange de rock, de techno, de cold wave. Et pousse loin le concept en réorchestrant façon new wave, un tube disco funk des années 80 des Sister Sledge, "Lost In Music", avec en prime la chanteuse d'Au Revoir Simone, Erika Forster. Inattendu et divin à la fois.

Sacrée année pour le français Flairs qui après le succès de son premier album et du film Les Beaux Gosses, sort un nouveau maxi qui vaut le détour. "Truckers Delight", c'est de la pop électronique instrumentale avec ce soupçon de psychédélisme enchanteur. Au delà du morceau, c'est la vidéo que j'adore, une course poursuite porno trash sous forme de dessin animé sous forme de jeu vidéo rétro qui rappelle "Crazy Cars", les vieux amateurs d'Amstrad CPC6128 verseront certainement une petite larme (nostalgie enfantine oblige !).

A la manière de Little Boots, Florence & The Machine est une jeune anglaise, Florence Welch, talentueuse musicalement. Fantastique sur scène, elle dégage ce je-ne-sais-quoi qui la rend intrigante et surtout touchante. Entourée pour l'enregistrement de son premier album "Lungs" par de grosses pointures de la production (Paul Epworth, James Ford, Steve MacKay), Florence et ses machines poussent loin ses envolées accompagnées d'orchestrations magistrales. Et quand sa reprise "You'Ve Got The Love" des The Source est remixé par les orfèvres, The XX, alors nous nous approchons du nirvana.

Great on stage, she has something special I can not explain which makes her scheming and really attractive.
