Madlib est de retour, et en grande forme pour couronner le tout. Cette fois-ci, c'est avec son projet Beat Konducta et un cinquième volume, peut-être son meilleur d'après moi. Une fois de plus, on ressent un hommage à J-Dilla dont la mort inspire encore et encore. L'album se termine avec "Anthenagin (?)", morceau très Wax Taylor, un hip-hop où la classe rencontre l'émotion, la nostalgie la beauté. Tout bonnement sublime.
Madlib is back and still well inspired. This time, it is with his project Beat Konducta and the fifth volume of the serie, perhaps his best one according to me. One more time, we feel a homage in J Dilla, his death inspires still and still. The album ends with "Anthenagin (?)", track as Wax Taylor's ones, a hip-hop where emotion, nostalgia meet beauty. Simply sublime.
