J'avais déjà posté un article sur Herve, aka Count of Monte Cristal, et Sinden pour leur fantastique mix lors d'une session Essential Mix de la BBC. Mais je reviens sur ces producteurs qui viennent d'annoncer la sortie prochaine de leur premier album chez Domino Records dont l'année 2008 est pleine de réjouissance (pour rappel l'album de The Kills sort bientôt).
En guise d'apéritif, nous avons le droit à la vidéo du premier maxi "Beeper", un ovni sonore clairement identifié mélangeant hip-hop version Baltimore (bref du Spank Rock !), breakbeat, et électro. Il se dégage une impression de puissance maximale bien illustrée par ce clip tourné dans un club de Chicago, avec ces beats énervés, une basse vrombissante, ces beeps téléphoniques euphorisants et surtout les featurings des MCs Flosstradamus et l'américaine Kid Sister dont je suis de plus en plus fan.

As an appetizer, we have the right to watch the video of their first EP, "Beeper", a clearly identified UFO mixing Baltimore hip-hop (short of Spank Rock!), breakbeat and electro music. There emerges an impression of maximum power, well illustrated by this music video shot in a Chicago club, with angry beats, bassline, the roaring euphoric phone beeps and especially the featurings of MCs Flosstradamus and american girl, Kid Sister of who I am increasingly fan.
