Boozoo Bajou, découvert en 2002 avec leur premier album "Satta", est un duo allemand formé par Peter Heider et Florian Seybath, originaires de Nuremberg. Ils ont fondé un label particulièrement recommandable "Stereo Deluxe" vu que l'on retrouve l'excellent Bigga Bush, les Funky Lowlives ou encore Megablast.
La tendance est une remise au goût du jour d'une certaine idée de l’easy listening, et le duo s'y engouffre en mélangeant les influences dubby, latine, jazzy... Boozoo Bajou propose avec cette seconde livraison, "Dust My Room", une sympathique liste de morceaux certes assez convenus mais reprenant ce qui fait leur style, à savoir une oscillation entre dub aux basses sourdes et planantes, reggae électronique. La participation de quelques personnalités incontournables du blues (Wayne Martin et le jeune Ben Weaver), de la country (la légende Tony Joe White), du reggae (U-Brown de Kingston) ou de la soul période Blaxploitation (Willye Hutch) apporte toute la crédibilité à cet abum.
Le titre qui ressort de cet album, est "Killer" aux consonnances Ragga voire Dancefloor grâce à la voix de Top Cat qui prend une dimension entraînante. Totalement imparable !
