Chloé est un symbole des nuits parisiennes où elle officiait entre autre en tant DJ que résidente au défunt Pulp. Productrice accomplie aux côtés d'Ivan Smagghe, fondatrice du très bon label, Kill The DJ, Chloé a enfin franchi l'étape de l'album solo "The Waiting Room". De la techno minimale à la pureté incroyable, aux sonorités presque organiques.
Le premier single "Be Kind To Me" a l'atout d'avoir un clip fantastique, sombre et opressant comme le titre d'ailleurs. C'est Lidia Terki qui a réalisé ce court-métrage, nommé "Mains Courantes" ou l'histoire d'une journée ordinaire qui se termine en meurtre. Le téléspectateur n'aperçoit jamais le visage de la future victime, c'est une succession de plans de mains, ces mains si essentielles aux DJ. Comme pour la techno minimale, il faut parvenir à rentrer dedans, une fois arrivé on se laisse par la suite transporter aisément. Cette vidéo nécessite et surtout mérite d'être vue plusieurs fois car il n'est certainement pas évident de rester concentré tout le long car, à la monotonie des séquences, les détails aperçus à chaque visionnage révèlent une émotion toujours plus profonde. Un des plus grands clips qui m'ait été donné de voir.

Pure minimal techno with almost organic sounds.
The first single "Be Kind To Me" has the advantage of having a fantastic music video, dark and bad as the track. The movie maker is Lidia Terki who has made this short movie, named "Mains Courantes" or the story of an ordinary day which ends in murder. The viewer never sees the face of the future victim, it is a succession of plans on the hands, those hands which are so fundamental to a DJ. As for the minimal techno, it is necessary to go in, once you are in, you will be transported. This video requires and especially deserves to be seen more than once because it is certainly not easy to stay focused all along, but behind the monotony of sequences, different details at each viewing reveal an ever deeper emotion. One of the biggest music video I have ever seen.
