Née à Berlin Ouest, Natalie Williams a toujours été bercée par le jazz, son père étant un grand fan notamment de Miles Davis, Billie Holliday entre autre. Après des études de musique aux Etats-Unis (Université Berklee), elle s'installe à Londres où elle rencontre certaines pointures de la production UK comme Mark Hill of the "Artful Dodger", The Full Crew ou Ruff&Tumble.
Elle finit par signer sur le non moins respecté label Eastside Records. Elle sort son premier album en 2003, "Yours Truly", tendance Nu Soul, rappelant une certaine Jill Scott.
Son nouvel album "Secret Garden" ne devrait pas tarder à sortir. On y retrouve le fantastique "Psychedelic Love" qui finira à coup sûr par se retrouver dans une pub et surtout "Butterfly", titre incontournable où sa voix de velours prend toute sa valeur sur une mélodie sensuelle à la production jazzy romantique. Délicieux !
Born in Western Berlin, Natalie Williams was always rocked by the jazz, her father being a large fan in particular of Miles Davis, Billie Holliday amongst other artists. After studies of music in the United States (Berklee University), she settles in London where she meets some nice UK producers such as Mark Hill of the "Artful Dodger", The Full Crew or Ruff & Tumble.
She ends up signing on respected label 'Eastside Records'. She released her first album in 2003, "Yours Truly", Nu Soul style, pointing out a certain Jill Scott.

You will find the fantastic track "Psychedelic Love" which will undoubtedly end up being found in an advertizing video and my favorite one "Butterfly", incredible track where her velvet voice takes all its value on a sensual melody with a romantic jazzy production.
