The Kills sont un groupe composée de la chanteuse américaine Alison "VV" Mosshart et le guitariste anglais Jamie "Hotel" Hince. Difficile de dire à qui les rapprocher tant les références sont nombreuses : les White Stripes vu que les deux membres de The Kills sont en couple, Sonic Youth avec ce garage rock underground, Velvet Underground pour ces sonorités arty.
"U.R.A. Fever" est une mise en bouche de leur nouvel album "Midnight Boom" qui sortira prochainement sur Domino Records. Ce morceau est un savant mélange de Nin Inch Nails pour la rythmique, de Sonic Youth pour les guitares, des productions Cup Of Tea Records pour l'ambiance mi hip-hop, mi trip-hop, mi rock.
