K-The-I??? est un black américain à la silhouette ronde qui a gagné le respect de toute la scène indépendante hip-hop grâce à un flow incroyable, à de magnifiques lyrics lâchant des bombes à la gravité immersive. MF Doom est à Stones Throw ce que K-The-I??? est à Mush Records qui héberge donc ce gros nounours.
Après avoir traversé tous les Etats-Unis, sorti un EP sur Def Jux et réalisé quelques featurings, notamment sur le dernier album de Bigg Jus ainsi que celui de NMS "Imperial Letters of Protection", K-The-I??? débarque avec son premier LP "Broken Love Letter" et ses grondements vocaux, véritable carnet de bord de liaisons amoureuses. Les productions collent à cet univers de discordes où NMS, Dalek entre autre se mettent à la perfection au service de textes traitant des problèmes d'interaction entre fille et garçon. Emotions, colère, tristesse, envie, fantasme et confusion se confrontent pour une déstabilisation totale qu'elle soit textuelle ou sonore. Bref c'est un album déroutant mais dans le bon sens du terme. Mush Records a encore frappé !

The productions stick to this universe of discords where NMS, Dalek amongst other produces offer perfect melody for these lyrics about problems of interaction between girls and boys. Emotions, anger, sadness, desire, phantasm and confusion are confronted for a total destabilization which can be either textual and sound. In short it is an diverting album but in the good term.
