Kiko est un producteur, un DJ mais aussi un gérant fondateur d'un magasin de musique, Ozone, un patron de label, HotBanana, fondé avec Fabrice G. Cet influent activiste du mouvement techno depuis 1992 est un pilier de l'aura techno française tout en diversifiant ses productions de plus en plus orientées dancefloor avec des mélanges d'italo-disco, d'électro et de new-wave.
La scène grenobloise revient sur le devant de la scène. Après le retour de Miss Kittin & The Hacker, c'est au tour de Kiko de revenir en grande forme. Sa "Worldcup", en 1998, reste encore un incontournable qui me marqua contrairement à son premier album solo "Midnight Magic". En 2002, c'est le succès commercial avec son projet d'électro-pop, Sinema et le hit "In My Eyes".
Dans la veine d'Arnaud Rebotini, Kiko possède une production très personnelle que l'on retrouve sur "Faces Of Life", son nouveau maxi. Un son trempé d'électro avec des basses en dent de scie, une mélodie galactique et un beat rèche. Sombre et hypnotique, telle est l'une des faces de la vie nocturne.
