Je fais suite à ma chronique sur la compilation "Rumble In The Jungle" de SoulJazz Records, véritable tribute à la Jungle, avec Rub A Dub Soldiers. Je ne sais pas qui se cache derrière et peu importe finalement car c'est juste bon. De la jungle empreinte de dub et de ragga et gavée aux barres énergétiques .
C'est une madeleine de Proust pour moi. Vous prenez le meilleur des productions More Rockers et Smith & Mighty : un boucle mélodique de pur dub, des breaks opiniâtres, une basse arrondie et des sirènes filtrées à profusion. Vous y intégrez un MC que l'on croit issu d'Overproof Soundsystem et vous obtenez "Fightin'"qui vous fera hocher la tête de bas en haut et donnera des fourmis à vos jambes. Rewind !!!

It is a "madeleine of Proust" for me. You take the best productions More Rockers and Smith & Mighty: a melody piano loop in pure dub, obstinate breks, round bass and filtered sirens at profusion. You integrate into it a MC who seems coming from Overproof Soundsystem and you obtain “Fightin' “which will make you shake the head and your legs. Rewind!!!
