Baron est l'une des figures montantes de la scène drum & bass. Dès 2003, il se fait remarquer par des warm up éblouissants au club Source à Oxford. Il devient un véritable phénomène dépassant les frontières du Royaume-Uni grâce à son premier remix "Nosher Remix" devenu un classique des soirées.
Depuis 3 ans il multiplie les remixes comme ‘Kerbcrawler’, ‘Mysterons’, ‘Turnstile’. Il sort même son premier EP 'See Me Burning'. Il finit par signer sur l'un des principaux labels de drum & bass qu'est Breakbeat Kaos qui accueille Pendulum, DJ Fresh, Adam F. Bref il intègre une écurie de grosses pointures et c'est justifié vu l'excellence de ce monsieur. Sur 2 ans, les sorties s'enchaînent ; ‘Supernature’, ‘Guns At Dawn’ laissent entrevoir une réelle avancée pour Baron dans une déclinaison d'un style à la fois empreint de jazzy drum & bass en référence à High Contrast et d'ambiance atmosphérique et brésilienne comme chez DJ Marky. Un pur régal où la fraîcheur s'associe à l'énergie.
Le dernier opus de Baron est 'At The Drive In', une vraie tuerie. On commence par une intro qui rappelle les débuts de Roni Size avec des breaks sont époustouflants. On continue avec des synthé chauds et atmosphériques qui se joignent à une multitude d'autres instruments, de la guitare en passant par une basse énorme qui rappelle London Elektricity. Véritable voyage sonore nous plongeant dans des régions enchanteresses.
