Danny Breaks est l'une des figures sous-estimée de la scène Drum & Bass. Méconnu, il est l'un des premiers protagonistes lors de l'émergence de ce courant musical. Mais reconnu en qualité de DJ et de producteur !
Fondateur du label 'Droppin Science', il signe de nombreux remixes pour Amon Tobin ('Like Regular Chickens'), DJ Krush ('Only The Strong Survive') ou encore DJ Zinc ('Time Is Running Out'). Il crée également en 2000 un second label qu'il nomme 'Alphabet Zoo' qui lui permet de sortir ses productions Hip-Hop dont notamment son dernier album 'The Outer Dimension'.
Avant cela il avait sorti en 2003 'Another Dimension' où il partage ses explorations musicales teintées de Hip-Hop électronique avec un soin tout particulier apporté aux breaks. Le titre 'The Jellyfish', c'est une bombe sonore reposant une basse lourde, enveloppante qui fait vibrer tout ce qui se trouve autour des enceintes ou de vos écouteurs !! Dommage qu'un MC ne vienne poser quelques flows...

The track 'The Jellyfish' is a sound bomb putting back a heavy bass which makes vibrate all that is around the enclosures or of your ear-phones ! It reminds me the big hit of Roots Manuva 'Witness'. It's a pity that no MC rap on this track...
