Little Kids est ma dernière trouvaille, made in England. Fondé en 2005, ce soundsystem jazz est galavanisé d'un groove incroyable auquel s'associe des MCs plus ou moins connus. Quand J-Star associe reggae et hip-hop dans ses bootlegs, Little Kids fait appel à des musiciens de jazz et pose des acapellas de rappeurs légendaires. Une double basse, des cuivres pour un jam, un MC pour s'assurer l'adhésion du public. Cela faisait un an que Little Kids ne sortait rien, le temps de partir en vacances, faire le tour du monde dont un stop au Brésil dont l'influence se sent sur certains nouveaux titres (le bootleg de Amerie "1 Thing").
Le nouvel EP "The Influence"est issu d'une session de jam improvisée que Saint Germain aurait pu produire. Du jazz cinématique au tempo relevé sur lequel Little Kids a rajouté les flows du groupe californien Jurassic 5. Efficace, réussi et jubilatoire.

When J-Star combines reggae and hip-hop in his bootlegs, Little Kids uses jazz musicians and acapellas of famous rappers.
