Le producteur de techno de Detroit fait parler lui avec une indispensable double compilation de remixes "History Elevate". D'un côté des remixes qu'il a fait (Cerrone, Pet Shop Boys, Hercules And Love Affair, Simian Mobile Disco...), de l'autre des remixes de ses propres morceaux par de grands producteurs (Luciano, Simian Mobile Disco, Joris Voorn, Loco Dice...), cela donne un ensemble hétérogène et cohérent, bien agréable pour nos tympans. J'en profite pour vous faire découvrir l'un de ses pseudos E-Dancer qui avait donné lieu à un superbe morceau “World Of Deep”, techno made in Detroit dans la plus belle des traditions.

Je suis tombé par hasard sur le titre "Baditude", fruit de la collaboration de Dave Spoon, Paul Harris et Sam Obernik. Il est sorti l'été dernier mais je ne l'avais jamais entendu (Suis-je passé à côté ?). Pourtant ça aurait dû être un carton. Ultra commercial avec cette boucle de guitare espagnole, la voix sexy de la jolie demoiselle mais peu m'importe, j'assume !

Quel plaisir de retrouver les deux frères Robin et Simon qui ont fondé il y a 15 ans Faze Action ! Leur nom ne vous dit pas forcément grand chose et pourtant ils sont incontournables. Leurs productions et leurs edits disco house sont des assurances "Faire Danser", totalement imparables. Et leur nouveau maxi "Good Lovin' " perpétue la tradition (bientôt le panthéon pour Faze Action ?). La version Special Disco Mix est d'un groove électro incroyable entre Cerrone et le funk des années 80.

What a pleasure to listen to new tracks of brothers Robin and Simon who founded 15 years ago Faze Action! Their name does not say to you necessarily much and nevertheless they are inescapable. Their disco-house productions and edits are an insurance "Make Dancing", totally unstoppable. And their new EP " Good Lovin ' " immortalizes the tradition (soon the hall of fame for Faze Action?). The Special Disco Mix versionhas an incredible electo groove between Cerrone and the eighties funk.

Nom de code : The Juan MacLean, producteur new yorkais qui sort son second album "The Future Will Come", avec la participation vocale de Nancy Whang, claviériste de LCD Soundsystem mais aussi l'ancien batteur de !!!, Jerry Fuchs, et deux membres d'Holy Ghost, Nick Millhiser et Alex Frankel. Et c'est une immense réussite, un album d'électro-pop aux accents disco et pleine de vibrations très Giorgio Moroder. Et quand le titre "One Day" est remixé par le petit surdoué français Surkin, c'est divin.

Nat King Cole, de son vrai nom Nathaniel Adams Coles, est un des plus grands crooners aux côtés des Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin ou encore Paul Anka. Ce pianiste de jazz a longtemps été hésitant dans son rôle comme chanteur continuant de pratiquer le piano. Est-ce les rayons de soleil qui se multiplient ces derniers jours, une envie soudaine ou une succession de bonnes sorties vinyls ? Peut-être que ce sont toutes ces raisons qui m'amènent à écouter beaucoup de house, la version originale, celle au rythme minimal, à la ligne de basse funky accompagnée de voix (surtout féminine). C'est d'ailleurs grâce à celle de Marlene Rodrigues dont le timbre est vibrant comme pas deux, que j'ai découvert le dernier morceau du duo français Wumm, "My Roots Of House". Les racines de la house sont bien présentes comme le stipule le titre et le remix Logan Dataspirit y rajoute une touche planante du meilleur goût.

Is it because of sunbeams we get these last days, a sudden envy or a succession of good EP releases? Maybe it's all these reasons which bring me to listen to house music, the original version, the one with minimal beats, with funky basslines accompanied with voice (especially of women). It is moreover thanks to the voice of Marlene Rodrigues who has a vibrating vocal power, that I discovered the last track of the French duet, Wumm, "My Roots Of House". The roots of house music are really present as the title stipulates it and the remix Logan Dataspirit adds a space touch, really tastefull.

Un billet bref pour écouter plus rapidement un track qu'il me faut absolument. Le producteur PRZTZ est un brésilien basé à Sao Paulo mais signé sur le label allemand Shaker Plates Records. Je ne connais pas ses morceaux sauf le récent "Madly Madly" qui est une bombe. Cette guitare slappée, ce synthé ronronnant associés à un sample vocal de Jim Morrisson "Love Her Madly" et à un beat funky house énergisant.

A brief note to listen quickly a track which I need absolutely. The producer PRZTZ is a Brazilian man based in Sao Paulo but signed on the German label Shaker Plates Records. I do not know his tunes except the recent "Madly Madly" which is a pure bomb. This slapped guitar, this purring keyboard associated with Jim Morrisson's vocal sample "Love Her Madly" and an excellent energizing funky house beat.

J'adore un fascination pour les diggers, ces passionnés qui passent leur temps à chiner toutes les boutiques de vinyls du monde. Ces chercheurs d'or musical sont investis d'une mission : rendre hommage à ces artistes, ces morceaux oubliés (parfois trop vite). Parmi ceux-ci, il y a un certain 6th Borough Project qui était chargé par Craig Smith et The Revenge d'explorer les bacs à vinyls de funk et disco. Sa collection semble immense et son nouvel opus est une merveille. "Planets (The Revenge Lost Groove)" est une version disco spéciale du morceau Jisco. Les fans des productions de Soundstream s'y retrouveront, les autres ressentiront l'envie de danser coiffés en afro et habillé d'un pantalon patte d'éléphant. Groovy !

I am fascinated by diggers, these passionates who spend time mocking all music shops of the world. These musical gold-diggers are invested with a mission: honour these forgotten artists and tunes (sometimes too quickly). Among these, there is certain 6th Borough Project who was in charge by Craig Smith and The Revenge of investigating all vinyls of funk and disco. His collection seems immense and his new opus is a masterpiece. "Planets (The Revenge Lost Groove)" is a special disco version of the Jisco's nugget track. Après avoir adoré "Version Excursions", album reggae de reprises rock, funk et soul, j'espérais que les français de The Dynamics allaient poursuivre leur aventure. Mon voeu est exaucé car ils sortent aujourd'hui un nouveau maxi qui comporte la reprise de "Miracles" des Jackson Sisters. C'est un de mes morceaux préférés, un titre de soul des années 70. La déception aurait été très probable et bien non c'est tout l'inverse avec cette relecture mi-ska mi-rocksteady. Un vrai miracle ! Du pur bonheur...

Having been felt in love with "Excursions version", a reggae album of rock, funk and soul tracks covers, I did hope the French band, The Dynamics, was going to pursue their adventure. My wish is fulfilled because they releases out a new EP which contains a cover of Jackson Sisters' "Miracles". It is one of my favorite songs, a 70's soul track. The disappointment would have been very likely and indeed not it is all the opposite with this half-ska and half-rocksteady cover. A true miracle! A moment of pure happiness...

Je parle rarement du dubstep, dernier genre musical qui dispose d'une scène de plus en plus importante. Beaucoup de productions mais peu à retenir sauf celles de Burial, Benga ou encore Skream. Etonnamment j'affectionne le dubstep quand il fait office de remixes comme par exemple le remix de Burial pour le titre de Jamie Woon, "Wayfaring Stranger". Cette fois-ci, c'est Skream qui fait passer le morceau du groupe La Roux, "In For The Kill", de la catégorie insipide à celle d'émouvante. Certes c'est triste mais c'est le créneau du dubstep.

I rarely speak about dubstep, last musical genre which has a bigger and bigger scene. Many productions but few to retain except those of Burial, Benga or still Skream. Strangely I like the dubstep when it acts of remix as for example the remix of Burial for Jamie Woon's song, "Wayfaring Stranger". This time, it is Skream who makes cross the track of the band, La Roux, "In For The Kill", from insipid category in moving category. It is undoubtly sad but it is the crenel of dubstep.

Vous le connaissez sans savoir qui il est. Jesse Rose travaille dans l'ombre à coups de remixes mais aussi en tant que producteur (notamment pour les Hot Chip). Cet anglais est un diamant aux multiples facettes, à l'aise dans tous les genres électronique, funk, soul, pop, jazz, hip-hop, rock, latin. Son deuxième album solo "What Do You Do If You Don't?" vient de sortir, ne sera malheureusement pas aussi reconnu qu'il le mérite mais ce n'est pas une raison pour passer à côté. Allez le découvrir rapidement et pour vous mettre l'eau à la bouche commencez par "Well Now".

You know him without noticing whom he is. Jesse Rose works shadowly full of remixes but also as a producer (in particular for Hot Chip). Les points de recoupement entre les labels Ed Banger et Institubes sont nombreux, s'accumulent au fil du temps. Quand il y a quelques mois la maison Pedro Winter sort le maxi de DJ Mehdi "Pocket Piano", morceau de piano house, on se doutait qu'Institubes allait suivre. C'est chose faite avec "The Deep End" de l'américain à la dent dorée, Curses!. Si les remixes valent le détour (Bart B More, Holy Ghost), la version originale reste la meilleure où piano, nappes de synthétiseurs et guitares sont à l'unisson et surtout met en valeur la voix féminine qui hypnotise l'ouïe. Bien joué !

The points of stepping between French labels Ed Banger and Institubes are many and still accumulate time after time. When some months ago the Pedro Winter's structure released out DJ Mehdi's EP "Pocket Piano" , good piano house song, we suspected Institubes was going to follow. It is done with "The Deep End" produced by the American with a golden tooth, Curses!. If remixes sounds good (Bart B More and Holy Ghost's one), the original version stays the best where piano, electronic keyboards and guitars are in accord and especially emphasizes the feminine voice which hypnotizes your hearing. Well doned!

En écoutant le nouveau EP de Peter Kruder, j'ai pris une double claque. D'abord parce que je me suis rendu compte que la découverte de ce producteur autrichien date de plus d'une dizaine d'années (époque de l'album "K&D Sessions"). Ensuite parce qu'en ce laps de temps, je suis resté fan en dépit de l'évolution dont il a fait part, passant du trip-hop (avec son compère Dorfmeister) au downtempo et lounge (avec son projet solo Peace Orchestra) ou encore la techno (comme sur "Root Down" via de nombreux remixes). Cette fois-ci, Peter Kruder se lance dans la minimal en signant sur le label Gigolo Records un maxi "Visions Ltd" de haut niveau. Ce morceau "Visions Ltd" tout en s'adressant garde l'esprit de Peace Orchestra et le titre de la face B "Shine" est le même utilisé sur l'album éponyme. Bref chaudement recommandé et en toute objectivité. Si, si !

By listening to Peter Kruder's new EP, I took a double slap. At first because I realized that the discovery of this Austrian producer dates more than ten years (time of the album "K&D Sessions"). And because in this lapse of time, I remained a fan in spite of his musical evolution, passing of the trip-hop (with his accomplice Dorfmeister), of downtempo and lounge music (with his solo project Peace Orchestra) or of techno music (as on "Root Down" or his numerous remixes). This time, Peter Kruder dashes in minimal by signing on the label Gigolo Records a nice EP "Visions Ltd". This track "Visions Ltd" perfect for dancefloors keeps the spirit of Peace Orchestra and the title of the B face "Shine" is remaining the one of the best tune of the album "Peace Orchestra". In brief warmly recommended with total objectivity. Trust me!

On n'arrête pas le progrès. Après la musique composée par ordinateur, par sampler, etc., il semblait évident qu'Internet allait être source d'inspiration. Et j'ai découvert récemment un producteur inconnu mais terriblement talentueux israelien, Kutiman. Son idée est géniale : utiliser les vidéos personnelles de Youtube pour composer des morceaux. A sa manière, il prend le relais des Wax Taylor, RZA, RJD2 et compagnie. Chaque vidéo apporte un son, un instrument, un kick, un clic... A partir de cette matière première (à profusion sur le net), Kutiman crée avec une virtuosité incroyable. Par exemple sur "I'm New", morceau d'abstract hip-hop, on ne peut pas faire un lien avec DJ Shadow. Je vous mets en dessous d'autres morceaux, ils sont tous excellents.

We can't stop progress. After the music made by computer, by sampler..., it seemed evident Internet was going to be source of inspiration. And I discovered recently an unknown but terribly talented producer, Kutiman. His idea is brilliant: use personal videos of Youtube to compose original tracks. In his own style, he relieves Wax Taylor, RZA, RJD2 among others. Every video brings a sound, an instrument, a kick, a click... From this raw material (in profusion on the Web), Kutiman creates with an incredible virtuosity. For example on "I' m New", abstract hip-hop tune, we cannot make a comparison with DJ Shadow. I put you below other tracks, they all are excellent.

Pour ceux qui désespéraient de revivre les sensations fortes que l'écoute de "Rock 01" de Vitalic avait procuré à l'époque, je viens de trouver un successeur digne de ce nom. Le prénommé producteur est Slam dont le dernier morceau "Hot Knives" vous catapultera très très très loin.

Je reconnais avoir été dans ma jeunesse un joueur invétéré de Grand Theft Auto même si j'ai décroché depuis. Sauf pour leur bande sonore (notamment les radios lorsque l'on chevauche motos et voitures) qui est toujours pointue et excellente. Cela donne même lieu à des inédits spécialement conçus pour le jeu. Et le nouvel épisode "Chinatown" se voit créditer d'un morceau "Chinatown Wars" produit par Oh No du label Stones Throw avec les flows de Ghostface Killah du Wu Tang Clan & Doom (nouveau nom de MF Doom). Ca me donne presque envie de m'y remettre.

I recognize to be in my youth an inveterate player of Grand Theft Auto even if I dropped out since. Except for their soundtrack (in particular radios when you are astride motorcycles and cars) which is always sharp and excellent. It is an opportunity to discover exclusive tracks especially produced for the game. And the new episode "Chinatown" os crediting with a tune "Chinatown Wars" produced by Oh No of the californian label Stones Throw with featurings of Wu Tang Clan's Ghostface Killah and Doom (new name of MF Doom). It gives me almost envy to play again.

Faire partie des écurie des labels Compost et Drumpoet Community est un indice du talent dont dispose un producteur. Et l'allemand DPlay fait partie des élus. Habituellement accompagné de Manuel Letur, il sort en solo un maxi "Huubsand" à la pochette sportive et rétro voire kitsch. Mais une raison à cela, le titre "Huusband" est un hommage à deux des meilleurs joueurs de foot de l'équipe Schalke04 (!!!) mais aussi un morceau de house caverneux. Et surtout "Tschaka", deep house avec une touche de disco et dub, qui parle autant aux jambes qu'à l'esprit, tel un entraîneur qui parle à ses joueurs. Alors on sort des vestiaires et on rejoint la piste.

To be selected by labels such as Compost and Drumpoet Community is an indication of the talent a producer has. And German DPlay is one of these selected producers. Usually accompanied with Manuel Letur, he comes out a solo EP "Huubsand" with a kitsch and sport cover. But a reason in it, the track "Huusband" is a tribute to two of the best players of soccer team Schalke04 (!!!) but also a wonderful song of cavernous house. And a special mention for "Tschaka", deep house with a touch of disco and dub, which speaks as much to the legs as to the brain, such a trainer who speaks to his players. Parmi mes producteurs fétiches de musique house, Mike Monday a une place de choix. Certainement parce qu'il est un des rares à être un vrai musicien (saxophone, piano et basse), c'est aussi un ami d'Andy Cato de Groove Armada avec qui il avait commencé la musique dans les années 90. Depuis 2000, le fondateur du label Kinky Vinyl enchaîne les maxis qui se bonifient à chaque fois. Et "Zwivetty" est un de ses meilleurs morceaux, à la fois rétro, minimal et funky. Je ne me remets pas de ce synthé envoûtant qui rend hystérique.

Among my favourite producers of house music, Mike Monday has a place of choice. Certainly because he is one of rare producers to be a real musician (saxophone, piano and bass), he is also a friend of Andy Cato of Groove Armada with whom he had begun music in the 90's. Since 2000, the founder of the label, Kinky Vinyl, releases many EPs which are better every time. And "Zwivetty" is one of his best ones, at the same time retro, minimal and funky. I can't stop listening to this bewitching keyboard which makes hysteric.

Tel un chercheur scientifique, l'allemand Andre Crom est toujours en quête d'expériences, d'expérimentations tant dans la production que le DJing. Avec un seul impératif : le fun. Je suis vraiment fan des productions d'Andre Crom (sans connaître malgré tout ses sets) car elles sont évidentes (des mélodies qui restent ancrées à l'esprit) sans tomber dans la facilité. C'est un régal et son nouveau maxi "Jazz Thang" est si bon que ce sont les deux titres que je mets en écoute.

Such a scientific researcher, German Andre Crom is always in search of experiences, of experiments both in production and DJing. With one main imperative: fun. I am really a fan of his productions (without knowing nevertheless his DJ sets) because they are evident (melodies which remain anchored in your brain) without falling in ease side. It is a sweet delight and his new EP "Jazz Thang" is so good as I put in listening the two tracks "Jazz Thang" and "Gettin' Funky".

Je vous avais parlé il y a quelques mois du Kuduro, musique électronique tribale provenant de l'Angola, ancienne colonie portugaise. C'est justement au Portugal que le Kuduro a trouvé son fer de lance avec le groupe Buraka Som Sistema. Des rythmiques qui engendre la transe, ce côté noir empreint d'une certaine violence font toute la force de ce nouveau genre des nuits dansantes. Sur "Aqui Para Voces", on retrouve une MC incroyable, Deize Tigrona. Amis gaulois, le ciel va nous tomber sur la tête.

I spok to you some months ago of Kuduro, about this tribal electronic music coming from Angola, former Portuguese colony. It is exactly in Portugal where Kuduro found its leader with the band Buraka Som Sistema. Beats which put you in trance, this black side tainted of a violence make all the strength of this new kind of night parties. On "Aqui Para Voces", you will discover an incredible MC, Deize Tigrona. Pour les fans de Digitalism en manque, je vous présente un allemand, Cajuan, qui semble être un proche du duo d'Hambourg. Cela semble presque une évidence à l'écoute du titre "Raven". Ce morceau est un must have avec ce beat et ces bips "digitalismien", une basse surpuissante et cette mignonne mélodie d'orgue qui casse le tempo pour mieux le relancer. Rewind !

For all fans of missing Digitalism, Let me present a German producer, Cajuan, who seems to be a friend à the duet from Hambourg. It appears almost an evidence when you listen to the song "Raven". This track is a must-have with these beat and beeps typically Digitalism, a high-powered bassline and this gorgeous organ melody which breaks the tempo to boost it just after. Rewind!

Je suis de ceux qui en 1996 étaient tombés amoureux de l'album "Londinium" du groupe anglais Archive. Autour de Darius Keeler et Danny Griffiths, le groupe a beaucoup évolué ainsi que dans les styles passant du trip-hop au rock et même l'électro. Ils font leur retour avec un album "Controlling Crowd" qui reste à découvrir mais avec la vidéo pour le premier extrait "Bullet", il y a de quoi être alléché. Je vous laisse découvrir.

I am one of those who in 1996 felt in love with the album "Londinium" of the English band, Archive. Around Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths, the band evolved a lot (some leaving others coming) as well as in the styles crossing of the trip-hop to rock and even electro music. They come back soon with a new album "Controlling Crowd" which is still to discover but with this music video for the first single "Bullet", there are some reasons to be impatient. C'est décidé, ce sera la chanson du printemps qui pointe son nez. Le new yorkais Denvil que je ne connaissais pas auparavant, m'a enchanté dès la première écoute de "Let Go". Son chant tout en douceur me rappelle Ben Westbeech, la production mi house, mi nu-jazz se rapproche des meilleurs titres de Kerry Chandler. C'est définitivement mon coup de coeur du moment.

It is decided, it will be the song of spring season which gonna start. The new yorker Denvil whom I did not know previously, enchanted me from the first listening of "Let Go". His quite gently singing style reminds me to Ben Westbeech, the half-house, half-nu-jazz production gets closer to the Kerry Chandler's best tunes. It is definitively my nowadays favorite song.

Et de 2. Encore un nouveau morceau des 2 compères, Simian Mobile Disco. Cette fois-ci un titre d'électro instrumental encore hypnotique. Adossé à une vidéo vraiment réussie, ça prend aux tripes. Vivement l'album !

J'avais découvert le groupe hip-hop de Chicago, Hollywood Holt il y a quelques semaines sans avoir été vraiment emballé même si les quelques touches électro dans les productions passaient bien. Finalement changement d'avis grâce au remix des bostoniens Fantastadon, producteurs de breakbeat house. Le morceau "Hollywood" se voit offrir un groove électronique et des basses rondes qui rappeleront certains remixes du regretté anglais Phones (allez écouter dans la même veine mes mixes "French Accent" pour les découvrir ou redécouvrir).

I found few weeks ago a hip-hop band from Chicago, Hollywood Hold, but did not find it so good even if the electronic touch in the productions were interesting. Finally I change my point of view thanks to a remix of Fanstatadon, breakbeat house producers from Boston. The track "Hollywod" gets an electronic groove and slappy basslines which remind the remixes of English regretted Phones (Listen to my old mixes "French Accent" in the same vein).

Petit détour par la techno avec un très très bon maxi édité chez le label Bondage Music (ça ne s'invente pas !). Transistor produisent depuis 2004 une techno minimale ultra funky qui fait bien souvent mouche. Et ce nouvel opus fait perdurer la tradition avec notamment "Zonderstaff", un morceau hypnotique à la montée progressive et soutenue.

Small bend by techno music with one very very good EP edited by the label Bondage Music (what a name!). The band, Transistor, has been producing for 5 years a minimal funky techno which works perfectly on the dancefloor. And this new opus makes the tradition continue with in particular "Zonderstaff", a uprising and hypnotising track.

Malgré quelques sorties intéressantes mais sans plus, je trouve que cela faisait un certain temps qu'un album de hip-hop ne m'avait pas marqué. Il m'aura fallu découvrir le troisième album, "Never Better", des américains P.O.S que je connaissais pas auparavant. Un hip-hop pur tout au long de ce long format aux accents de Madvillain avec un zeste d'Anticon. Le titre "Savion Glover" est d'une construction classique, ultra dépouillé : un pur sample de break, quelques scratchs et le tour est joué.

In spite of some interesting releases but nothing exceptionnal, I find it was a long time to get a great hip-hop album. I needed to discover the third album, "Never Better", of American P.O.S whom I never knew not. A pure hip-hop throughout this LP with accents of Madvillain and a zest of Anticon. The track "Savion Glover" is of a classic construction: a pure breaks sample, some scratchs and it's done!

C'est le grand retour de Depeche Mode. A l'inverse de U2, le groupe parvient à rester au top. Le talent à créer des mélodies, la production sombre et la voix magique de Dave Gahan sont encore au rendez-vous sur leur album à venir dont est issu le premier single "Wrong". Un morceau totalement représentatif de Martin Gore et ses deux compères adossé à un clip exceptionnel. L'idée d'un rembobinage ponctué de tas de détails subtiles, une réalisation captivante magnifient le morceau.

It's a big come-back of Depeche Mode. At the opposite of U2, the band succeeds in staying at the top. The talent to create great melodies, the dark production and the Dave Gahan' magic voice are still present on their next album out from which comes the first single "Wrong". A totally representative tune of Martin Gore and his two accomplices leaned in an exceptional clip. The idea of a rewinding punctuated with many subtle details, a fascinating realization glorify the song.

Celui que j'avais découvert en producteur à travers le Klub des Loosers, à savoir Orgasmic, a évolué à une vitesse impressionnante. Partir d'un hip-hop sombre vers de l'électro booty, c'est une sacrée évolution. Il faut préciser qu'il est derrière les manettes de morceaux de TTC et c'est avec le ventripotent Tekilatex (Tekitek cette fois-ci) qu'il sort "The Sixpack Anthem", un morceau qui ravira les fans du son de Baltimore, des Spank Rock et consorts. Son propre remix avec un featuring de E Mackey est terriblement efficace.

The guy I discovered as the producer of Le Klub des Loosers (French Hip-Hop MC), namely Orgasmic, evolved in an impressive speed. Coming from a dark hip-hop, he now produces booty electro, what an evolution. It is necessary to precise he is one of the producers of French hip-hop electro band, TTC, and it is with the potbellied Tekilatex (Tekitek, this time) that he's releasing "The Sixpack Anthem", a track which will delight the fans of Baltimore sounds, Spank Rock, etc. His own remix with a featuring of MC E Mackey, is terribly effective.

Si Michael Jackson n'avait pas fait blanchir son cerveau, il lui resterait les neurones nécessaires pour se décider à travailler avec de bons producteurs car lorsque l'on découvre ce que T&T, Tim et Tim, soit Goldsworthy de DFA Records et Sweeney de Beats In Space, ont réalisé comme edit acid disco du titre "Don't Stop", il y a de quoi avoir des regrets. Sortons les mouchoirs, King of Pop is not dead, he is a zombie !

If Michael Jackson had not made clear his brain as his skin, he would have enough neurones to decide to work with good producers because when we discover that T&T, Tim and Tim (Goldsworthy of DFA Records and Sweeney of Beats In Space), make an incredible acid-disco edit of "Don't Stop", we can have regrets. Let's bring our handkerchiefs, King of Pop is not really dead, he is only a zombie!

Un MC anglais qui devient producteur d'electro-house, ce n'est pas commun et pourtant Roska issu de la scène UK garage l'a fait. Et c'est ce que ça marche plutôt bien pour lui. Son dernier titre "In Your Handbag" sur lequel il rappe (pas besoin de featuring avec lui !), est entêtant, entraînant. Un morceau à placer en soirée et l'ambiance montera d'un cran.

An English MC who becomes electro-house producer, it is not common and nevertheless Roska coming from the UK garage scene did it. And it works well for him. His last track "In Your Handbag" on which he puts his voice (not need of featuring with him!), is intoxicating, entailing. A tune to play at night party and the atmosphere will rise up.

A travers le remix des italiens Crookers, Kid Cudi avait eu un buzz pour son titre "Day 'N' Nite". Un hip-hop hybride mélangeant électro et soul qui revient à la charge grâce à un tout nouveau clip signé So Me, graphiste de l'écurie Ed Banger. Je suis fan de son univers avec sa touche cartoon. Léger, gai mais pas niais !

Through the remix of Italians Crookers, Kid Cudi had last year a big buzz for his track "Day 'N' Nite". An hybrid hip-hop mixing electro and soul which is at the top today because of a new music video performed by So Me, graphist of Ed Banger crew. I am a fan of his univers with his cartoon touch. Lightful, happy but not simpleton!

Je ne connaissais pas jusqu'à présent Dr Kucho, producteur espagnol house, alors qu'il officie depuis 1993. Pour le découvrir, on ne peut rêver mieux que ce "Groover's Delight", l'union parfaite entre ce classique funky et hip-hop et la musique de club d'aujourd'hui. Très efficace.

I did not know until now Dr Kucho, a Spanish house music producer, while he started in 1993. To discover his works, we cannot dream better than this "Groover's Delight", the perfect union enters this funky hip-hop anthem and the nowadays clubbing music. Really effective.
